More aspect warriors
Monday, 31 May, 2010My Eldar project is still going strong. I managed to repaint my old Fire Dragons, to give me some much needed anti-tank to destroy all those dreadnoughts and monstrous creatures that are too strong for my other units to tackle.
I wanted to paint these models to look like their armour was really hot, as there was a small piece of fluff in Eldar Codex telling that the Exarchs (unit leaders) can even create a flaming corona to surround them. I think the effect worked out quite well.
The only model that was converted was the Exarch, who got a longer gun (Firepike) and a new fist to shake at enemies. The fist is from a night goblin, who would have thought that it would fit so well there!
Next I will be painting the Phoenix Lord so closely linked to Altansar, Maugan Ra himself.
